Bigger is better - Look now

Postby BUS » Tue Jul 12, 2005 10:43 am

I printed out the 2005 roster and got out my highlighter.

It now looks like there are 22 BIG Men ( 270 or over in my judgement ) that are on the Mustangs roster. I did not count another two that are at 265.

If we can get the passing game going and keep our DT's healthy we can win some games. Yes, I always see sunshine but you have to agree this is MUCH better that the 7 Big Men that were here when Bennett took over.

For what it's worth, I heard Mitch Enright is in impeccable shape, and that Chase Smith did a WARM-UP bench press set at 385 pounds. Wow.

I had heard that Chase Smith may even get a little playing time. I know we could use him but at 6-4 and 280 ( Hopefully more ) he could really help the DT rotation.

Mitch E. really want to step in and contribute NOW.

I knew you'd like those numbers, BUS.
And yeah, I think Smith might have to play. After losing Adami, Jones and Mouton, he and Haywood both have to figure into the rotation, right? Maybe Brad Lankford, too, if he stays on defense.
