Sorry. Too many penalties. Way too many penalties. I thought that was universally recognized.

I also didn't like the final score, but I thought that was understood, too.

I think the nucleus of Burcham, Gaines, and JaBryce could be special going forward.

They did look pretty good.

Its a call from the press box when their coaches see SMU kickoff team bailing out
Its Football get over it

I agree with that for the kick. They noticed 44 turning his back early and made a great adjustment.

Another thing...

This team has more talent than last year. Last year we couldn't move the ball. This year, we were much, much better on offense against A&M, even with the penalties.

I think he might be talking about attitude. If a team goes into a game with a mindset expecting to lose then they are almost defeated before they hit the field. Let's be positive going into the game even if we lose. Go SMU.

Same QB and same receivers. Same talent. I think Mumme's scheme adjustments are what is helping the most.

I know what he is talking about, I am just wondering why he says he hopes they do not expect to lose like one particular poster does. There are many posters who predict SMU to lose, so I do not see why he singles one person out. I was wondering if he himself expects SMU to lose as that would make the singling out even odder to me.
