Seems strange now how much June complained about having no recruiting budget in Hawaii
"I think Couchem is right."

Great original post. I agree with all of it. He doesn't know how to recruit. Period. Also, we definitely peaked after that UCF game, were receiving top 25 votes and then the bottom fell out with the ASU fiasco and Klemm leaving. We definitely had some recruiting momentum - some of the best talent we have is from that class and the one before it (Sanders, Acker, Lasecki, Gottschalk, etc). Last year's class was pretty good actually - at least at the top (Gaines, Minor, Taylor) but we were starting to attract high 3s and even a few 4s . . . that's all gone now with the odd exception of Harris who I hope stays committed . . . . He should go, my only fear is: who are we going to replace him with? This is the most critical time in our program post-DP IMHO -- Hart will either become a legend here or crash and burn over this decision in the next 1-2 years . . .

Oh, and no way we're winning the AAC this year. We are behind Louisville, UCF, Rutgers, Cincy, and dare I even say UH? Ouch.
