This is a legitimate chance to be 2-2. A chance to beat a rival. A chance to show off on national TV (HLN sends a bus to the game, ESPN broadcast the game).

Jones has talked about this game as a rival and important in the past. No need to believe he has changed his mind. Jones was very disappointed in the results last year and felt SMU could have won.

I do think we have a QB advantage.

I think we do come put prepared to play and determined to win. I don’t feel the players or coaches take this game lightly.

All you need to do is look at the Tech game. We didn't take that lightly and JJ was very disappointed and frustrated that we lost. We played pretty well, had no turnovers, few penalties and stayed in it into the 4th quarter. We took our licks last week for sure but I am pretty confident that the team will be better prepared this week because of it. We ran 84 plays, 67 of them passing against SEC players in what I like to think of as a tactical scrimmage. There is no question that the penalties that we saw against A&M have to be fixed, they will kill us in Amon Carter, and may result in GG actually killing one of his own players (and I'm not sure I'd blame him).

Play with discipline and physicality and we can win this game. To be honest, if we execute on offense we could win be a bunch.

Side note: If you take away the safety to open the Montana state game, we have played with the lead for a total of 18 seconds this season

I feel like this should be a decent game. Hope we can improve on offense, specifically, being able to convert in the red zone

Good fair points, I like our chances against the froggies and agree with Mustangs Abu that the the team and the coaches want to win this game.
