Now that's a fitting tribute to an outstanding player and SMU football. The University of Texas has, not one, but TWO, statues of Joe Jamail standing on the 40 Acres. How 'bout that! No players that I know of... (of course the scoreboard in honor/memory of Freddy Steinmark.) Apples and oranges, I know.

I wish we had planted hedges like they have in the stadiums in the SEC.

How about an artificial hedge that matches the turf... the real stuff wouldn't grow well in the asphalt.
