BTW one of Lamar's 2 superstar DBs John Plattenburg committed to UCLA

Are we getting any recruits who are following a previous player who has played at SMU under Jones. If a coach is popular and doing his job you would think if a player had success then he and his parents would spread the news back to younger players and their parents at the high school level. Darius Johnson only Hightower player? Jeremy Johnson only JTyler player? Beasley only Litle Elm Player? McJunkin/Padron only Southlake players? Duncanville? Mansfield? Cedar Hill? Ennis? Allen? Skyline? Seems like we aren't very popular in the metroplex so we are going farther away to find recruits who don't know the inside story on this staff. Rather than taking advantage of any type of good reputation. Kind of like a bad car salesman will only make one sale but a good coach/salesman will make continued repeat and referral sales for generations.

I thought maybe Prescott line might have known someone who played here before, but the name escapes me.
