It's some peoples nature to complain... I'm sure this is not the only thing about which he complains. Nobody likes someone who complains all the time. It gets old pretty quick and they tend to be ignored.

Did I miss context? SMU "caving" to JJ would be a fantastic thing, would it not? Further help to retain athletes who are marginal academically, get us an IPF. Those are good, right?

If this is what they mean by SMU caving in to June Jones, well by all means they should cave in. We need better recruits and better facilities...period!

Maybe PlanoStang you should tell FTHP to stop posting every other post complaining about attendance. At any rate I will post what I want to post.

It's the biggest problem we are facing that's fixable on the alumni side...it prevents us from "delivering Dallas market" and prevents us from getting into P5.

PlanoStang was saying that complaining on a public board could hurt recruiting. Reb said to ask you to stop complaining every other post about attendance implying that it could hurt recruiting. I would tend to agree that complaining about attendance on a public board as much as you do will hurt recruiting.

I think what hurts recruiting worst is what ALL of you complain every 5 seconds about : "June Jones sucks at recruiting...look at Rivals/Scout etc. HE SUCKS! THE KIDS ARE 2 STARS, THEY SUCK!" "We need a hotshot recruiter bla bla bla". Have y'all ever stop and wondered that maybe it isn't that he isn't doing enough to recruit kids, but that schools in the Big 12/SEC etc. kick our butt recruiting because they have the facilities, money and they play at a higher level? Hmmm...think of that for a second.

That could be true, but they are referring to things that hurt recruiting on this forum. Saying our new 2014 class sucks hurts more than me saying our attendance has to be improved.
