Would Mack Brown be a good hire?

Mack brown would be unreal for this program, there is zero chance he comes here but he recruits, puts butts in seats and will raise more money than anyone in 30 years

In a bunch of words?

NO! Mack Brown was a great coach at North Carolina and for a few years at Texas. Then he got complacent and decided that Texas was an "easy" job. His teams the last few years have had gaping holes due to his (and his staff's) failure to recruit the right players for the team instead of just taking the first 25 commitments they got by July 23rd.

If Mack would bring the same effort that got him the Texas job to begin with... maybe. I doubt he still has that drive in him.
