Bowl games are robbing NCAA schools because of the [deleted] conference tie-ins which make absolutely no sense. The New Orleans Bowl between Tulane and Louisiana Lafayette made more sense than 95% of the Bowls

They should be regionalized, and they should be rid of the BS "Automatic Qualifier" status. If you're good, you'll go to a bowl. No one would like to watch an 8-4 Big 12 team go against a 9-3 ACC team anyways just because their conferences have an automatic berth. Lol it's like if in the NFL, the Packers, Steelers, Giants and Patriots were the "Power 4" and always had an automatic playoff berth...
