But only 13-28 against teams with winning records. Now you're defending UCF like I defended SMU.

That's a lot better than 6-31.

Not to be argumentative with you, but you have used a lot of manipulated stats yourself, such as our historical record excluding the 80s when we were on probation, to show June is doing fine and SMU wasn't all that great in football. So you may want to not throw stones.
I am certain that I am just as subject to confirmation bias as the next guy and will admit my loyalist bent. It's how I'm built. Does anyone disagree with the idea that JJ has taken SMU to new levels post DP? Does anyone have to doctor stats to attempt to prove that? It seems from my polyannish perspective to be a forgone conclusion, but you're right that I don't want to manipulate to prove something that's not there.
I respect you and agree with some of what you are saying about post DP, but the thread was started by saying the stats showed we were that competitive even before the death penalty in regards to bowls. People rightly jumped on this as a non sequitur. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wish I had been wrong...apparently, we have the "privilege" of a disinterested "genius" for 3 more years, through the 2017 season.
Thanks for spoiling Christmas, RGT & Yes-Man Hart.

I believe it is 13 of 28, not 13w 28 L, thus 46.4%

Probably meant Mike Cavan-like..."I've had enough".
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
