SAD DAY WHEN SMU EXTENDS JUNE JONES

Postby smumustang1980 » Mon Dec 23, 2013 12:13 pm

I am beyond words to express my disgust with the inept SMU leadership.
About 25 feet from the Hillcrest track... With the boots so tall and the writing on the wall...

and what a biatch move to announce today as people travel for the Holidays. Hart is hoping no one will notice and the storm will pass over the Holidays.

Seriously, what a gutless move.

Should have started a silver lining thread for this one, well done.

JJ stayth- I goeth.
However, much more important is my wish for all (friends and detactors) to have a wonderful and very merry holiday season.
To RGT and his yes man- ‘casper no-nuts’, whose model and ambition is for this school to become Simply Mediocre University with respect to fball I can only hope they and their model burn in hell. At least Ken Pye was open about his dislike for college sports while RGT gives them lip service as he covertly tries to destroy them. His lack of respect to our fball program is almost equal to that of jj. I suspect we are only one of a very few schools where the admin has turned its’ back on its most loyal supporters. Are you kidding me?
I can not support a program that embraces a coach who at best does a half-assed job, has no use for the university and its’ traditions and refuses to engage the students, alumni and people of Dallas in general. And then he has the audacity to gripe when the attendance is poor and the tutoring standards don’t meet his qualifications. Are you kidding me?

I realize there will be a group of sheeple who will follow RGT and his program of mediocrity off the cliff and into the oblivion of FCS football. So be it. Those who choose to throw good money after bad with the illusion that they are supporting the team deserve the substandard results they will witness. This is not about supporting the team. This is about telling the administration that enough is enough. The train to get to the ‘big boys’ table left long ago and we weren’t even close to the station.

For me, I prefer to support a bball program where the coach embraces the university and its’ students and the community. A coach who wants to be here and loves what he is doing. A coach who exhibits class and is doing all he can for SMU.
End of rant - see you all on the flip side.
