Beat LaTech!

Postby Big Easy Pony » Mon Oct 14, 2002 11:16 am

I'm coming up to Dallas for the weekend - and my wife, a LaTech grad, is coming along. We NEED to beat the 'Dogs, because if they win, she's going to be insufferable.

Hey, if the winless Rams can beat the undefeated Raiders, we can definitely beat LaTech. More than ever, we need to be there for our team.

One thing we CAN'T afford to do is drop everyone back into coverage because we're scared of McCown. Theyre running back is a lot better than people think. He'd get a lot more pub if he weren't overshadowed by McCown.

Well “The Q” you said it... We must not focus on just the pass, La Tech have two very good backs in Smith and Moats. Smith has looked great all season and just when you think they are giving him a breather, in comes the true freshman Ryan Moats who is (powerfull) good now and could be even better than Smith as he gets more PT.

Our D must be wide-awake ( Focus ) for this game. Expect the unexpected from La Tech.

Lets HIT SOMEBODY Mustangs

With LaTech's relatively short defensive line, maybe Bartel - with his height and his high throwing motion - could have a big day throwing the ball, and offering balance to the running of Kincade and Bartel?

Any word from practice about who will start at QB or get the majority of the snaps?

1310 THE Ticket reported "Bartel took most of the snaps at yesterdays practice",
it would appear that Coach Bennett is preparing for plan "B" if Wallis is not ready.

Maybe he's going with Plan B(artel) whether or not Wallis is ready?
