Because the photo of the day is presented by Rogers B. Healy... there's a nice picture of him and everything.

No, Rogers doesn't pick the photos. We have borrowed some pictures from the SMU athletic department to show pictures from every sport. Glad you like them.

For those of us who enjooy and support the non-revenue sports, as well as football and basketball, thanks for the pictures from the other sports. Great to see all of the SMU teams getting a little front-page time.

Sounds like a Phi Delt name to me... "I'm Rogers Healy, and you're not."*

Speaking of the Phi Delts... I remember one time when my crappy car broke down in front of their house. Those guys were all so nice helping me get the car out of there... I soon realized, however, that they couldn't allow an '84 Nissan Sentra, with the trunk tied down with a rope, to sit in front of their house for more than thirty seconds. I think it disrupted the feng shui of their neatly parked row of Beamers and Porches.

*I've met Rogers before, he's a nice guy. So no offense meant by the joke.

Also of note, today's volleyball photo... naughty.

Y'all forgot hot girls playing volleyball. 8)

Was a former player/coach of co-ed, and men's VB teams (even though I'm a short guy) consisting of nearby co-workers for leagues at GDRA now known as Lockheed-Martin Recreation in FW.

My co-ed teams always made the playoffs, and a former SMU QB's sister was a member of most of them. A couple of the teams I played on competed in the championship game, but were denied to #2 like SMU in 82.

Tony Black from 76 or so. I think he only played a year or 2, and
transferred when Mike Ford took things over.

PonyExpress83,

I don't know if I've ever seen Beemers and Porches in front of the Phi Delt house. It always looked like a GMC dealership when I went to school...rows and rows of suburbans, tahoes and yukons.
