It's being reported on Frontburner that tcu and ut are getting ready to announce a home and home as a metroplex replacement for the red river classic. It seems ut wants no part of continuing to play ou in Big D and wants a home and home with the Sooners.

What is that? A blog site? No offense, but that's about as reliable as a Yugo.

And most on here will stupidly celebrate as another great college tradition dies.
The house that Doak built is probably less than 5 years away from being extinct.
The City of Dallas made its choice months ago. Now they've lost the Cowboys, lost the RRS, and will lose the Cotton Bowl for sure. Whatever the cost would of been (and they didn't even get to the negotiation stage -just shot it down) it would've been worth it.
Could've had the Cowboys there at least 8 times a years. Could've had the RRS. Could've had Super Bowls and NC games. Cotton Bowl would've become a BCS bowl. Could've cleaned up that entire area. Now, its destined to only get worse.

Danny Boy,
Amen bruthaaaaa. What a shame that we installed a muckraking carpet bagger to oversee the city. She didn't have a clue what the Cowboys meant to the city - still doesn't...........and we pay the price. "f" her...........
If it's true, the fair won't be the same.

Maybe it is all part of their plan to postphone the revival of Dallas 20-40 years, by waiting until Jerry, and Tom Hicks want the public to build them another new stadium and then stepping in to grab them because Arlington will no longer have the funds to support the stadiums, kinda like irving.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

If true, Add this to the list of huge failures for Laura Miller, the worst Mayor Dallas has had in the last 25 years.

25 years? What mayor in Dallas was ever as bad as she has been? Let's just say
"Laura Miller.. Worst mayor in the history of Dallas"
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.
