Tulane game prediction thread

Postby RGV Pony » Sun Sep 24, 2006 3:37 pm

So here goes...I predicted a loss vs. SHSU, and the Ponies whipped 'em.

I predicted a loss vs. Ark St, and the Mustangs ran wild.

So now I'll do my part this week:

Tulane 34
SMU 21

Keep the trend up Mustangs...

Thanks to you, RGV, I should get my bet down now (except there's no gambling at Bushwood, of course).

You people are nuts - we beat the last two teams because our players were better and we were at home.

We obviously will not be at home, and our talent is even with Tulane at best. They have not had a home game yet. If their qb is hurt that will be a help. We would be very fortunate to win this game, and I think Bennett gets conservative again and we lose 24-17.

The NTSU / Tech one, or the SHSU / ASU one?

I admit that I raged after the NTSU issue...then I said, "Win 3 in a row, and all will be forgiven."

He still has one more win to accept my deal. Then, he has to win 7 total or the rage is released again.

Why set myself up for dissapointment? Anyway I'm superstitious and every time I predict a loss SMU wins.

Mustang Band will be there, I'm sure that's comforting to them :)
