SMU wins 31-21. A 4-3 record. Bowl talk?SMU wins 31-21 and goes 4-3 for the season. Bowl talk anyone?

better win another 3 games before anyone starts talking bowl game. How many came out to watch this glorious victory today? Bowls know SMU will only bring 1000 fans...on a good day
not yet, we still need two more wins and I see no sure things on the schedule
I don't want us to jinx ourselves by thinking too far down the road. The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
ECU, UAB and RiceI see three wins over ECU, UAB and Rice. We finish 7-5 and play a very minor bowl game that no one attends. We will have no hallmark wins but a bowl victory and next year we become a contender.

GREAT WIN BY THE STANGS...but lets not get ahead of ourselves. LETS TALK ABOUT A BOWL GAME when we get to 5 wins.
Congrats from the Midwest. Each victory is a important. No more rebuilding, we are "back in the game"!
Way to go Ponies! ![]() Pony Up
Win 4 out of next 5 and we can discuss it...not sure folks are interested in a 7-5**, "I will bring 300 people to your bowl game", SMU squad, unfortunately......let's go 8-4, please.....

hot diggity dog diggity! the ponies win and this season is fun.
let's hope the team is taking 'em one game at a time. they certainly looked like they were today and that is refreshing. they were very well coached today. hat's off to PB and staff. whether or not we (ponyfans.com) looks ahead doesn't really affect the outcome of the game so WTF i guess, though i'm so superstitious when it comes to SMU football that i let myself think it does. i know this: if we get invited to a bowl, i'm going no matter where it is.
...best chance for a bowl, for a lot of reasons..probably the Ft. Worth Bowl on 12/23...second, maybe the Birmingham Bowl on same date.....if "bowl eligible", I predict Ft. Worth...beats sitting at home....
True, very true. I just hope that they have a pre Xmas day game because after Xmas I am always in SA for the Alamo Bowl.
