Now, who decided this...?To keep everyone off the field at the end of the game? I've been taking my kids down on the field for the last two seasons to shake hands with the players and run up and down the field.
When did the "veto" come down on fan access to the field after the game? pffffffffffft - I see the ScrewUp Fairy has visited us again.
yellow shirtsI can't stand these people.

I have noticed several things like that this year.
No umbrellas last week Yesterday, the security wouldnt let my 3 year old ring in his football that I bought for him at the spirit shop. I did think it was interesting that they did not have any secuirty checking tickets in the bowl. Last year there was someone at every isle
Better yet, a friend of mine who is an SMU employeee mind you, has a wife in a wheelchair and 2 four year old daughters. Last week, his wife was tired so he helped her and the kids out at halftime, tried to come back and told No Sir.
I blame the new ticket guy.
When I went to buy my tickets yesterday afternoon, there were a couple students there trying to get their tickets for the game. They were told the tickets would not be given out until 5 or 5:30. Students got pissed off and riddled off a list of expletives followed by I just won't come to the game. There has to be a better method to the madness. I hate to say it, but we are not a team that can sell out the stadium without letting any and everyone who wants a ticket recieve their ticket when they want it. No need to [deleted] fans off before they even get into the stadium
I guess we will all have to suffer through strip searches by the pedophile looking security guard next season if we got to a bowl game.
My plans changed late and I was able to attend the game last night. I had to stand in line with a rather large walk up crowd. The ticket ladies were telling people that the end zone tickets were sold out. No biggie, I paid the $27 bucks. But there were several very annoyed fans. I assume they were even more annoyed by the empty end zone section that was supposedly sold out.
What gives? Did some youth football organization buy up all the end zone seats and not show up?
I bought my tickets ysterday at about 1 pm at the ticket office at Ford. The dude working the window told me there were plenty of GA tickets. He wouldn't give me a number, but said nobody would have to go without
Somebody email Orsini and explain it to him.
Either cut fans some slack, or by God be ABUNDANTLY CLEAR ABOUT REGS!!!!! "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
I've had student season tickets to the U of Washington games for the past 5 years and I never experience the problems that SMU fans have had. And that's at a stadium that is prepared to handle 70k fans each Saturday. The problems SMU has at the stadium just rank of lower tier.
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.
Re: Now, who decided this...?
We got onto the field after the game. You just had to wait until the UNT team was off, and they took their sweet time.
Re: Now, who decided this...?
I kept thinking that was the deal and thought we had waited until both teams were off... which kinda ruined the point of taking the kids down to meet the players - but still. That was one of my kids favorite parts of the game. pffffffffffft - I see the ScrewUp Fairy has visited us again.
