I like that they created a plan to get more people to the games. Maybe they can develop a similar plan for SMU.

Very impressive. JJ seems to be a pretty smart guy. Would be awesome to have the Steinberg asset on the SMU Marketing side too. Let's hope we can land them both.

[quote="FWMustangGirl"]I like that they created a plan to get more people to the games. We need a marketing group that can bring back SMU as the college team of Dallas and make people in Dallas feel welcome on our campus...

We can afford Jones. We could never afford Steinberg.

Hawaii does not employ Steinberg.

I don't want to hire the guy, I just want the same kind of package that he and JJ developed for Hawaii.

A little reading never hurt anyone... unless it was Steinbeck. Ugh.

I hope Jones comes here. But if he does, I hope he doesn't change our current plans to go back to an approximation of the Pre-Bennett blue-shirt uniforms for next yr. Jones likes to put his own stamp on things...

Of course if he gets us to win, I don't care what we wear, I'd learn to live with it.

I love this quote:

"The definition of a pioneer, however, is a man with arrows in his back"; Jones ignored his detractors and simply forged ahead.

I think we need someone like that here.....
