Who saw that coming? Per espn.com
Wonder if this will impact McMackin to UH vs coming to SMU?

Chow still has time to apply to UH...Please Lord, give Chow the job at UH...He is offensive minded and has ties to the area...
Smaller programs need offensive head coaches to lure talent and create excitement...Small programs aren't winning with defensive minded head coaches (see SMU)...
That would leave McMackin to us...I know it is wishful and selfish, but a man's got to dream...

Wouldn't that accomplish about as much as bigamy?

Chow didn't exactly do wonders for Vince Young's development at Tennessee. I'm wondering if the shine is starting to wear off.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Makes you wonder about his abilities. If Greg "WR Swing Pass" Davis can develop Young, then what was Chow's excuse?

The fact is that Young has the same throwing motion as the gay dude in Revenge of the Nerds. Remember that javelin scene?
Young was a very bad fit for Chow's offensive scheme. Chow is a really, really good OC and developer of QBs. Hawaii would be foolish not to take hiim as a head coach, because he would be able to keep the same system in place.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I have more faith in Norm Chow as an OC than Vince Young as a NFL QB.
GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!

"He's designed the javelin to work with his limp-wristed throwing style."
