Tim Brown to help SMU WR"S?!?!?!

Postby CashMcMogulsonIII » Wed Mar 26, 2008 4:32 pm

Was putting around Preston Trail today and saw Tim Brown. I just so happened to over hear he plans on working with the WR'S at SMU! Now that would be a nice outside addition! I just over heard this, unfortunately Iwas working on closing a big deal so I couldn't get all the facts. A Hall of Fame caliber WR that played in the NFL for 15 years without ever missing a game would be a nice outside addition to this staff.
Girls LOVE hearing about things like my car and my season tickets. I usually try to work in what street my parents live on, just so they know where I'm coming from. That's a deal closer. Always be closing!

I wonder if the mob boss has anything to do with Tim Brown helping out. If its true. Before Notre Dame he went to Woodrow Wilson and actually had an official visit to SMU before choosing Notre Dame.

As much as I dislike Brown, that would be a sensational addition to the staff, even if he's doing it as a graduate assistant, a la George Lynch a couple of years ago.

I think his family had a low opinion of SMU's academics as it related to athletes back then.

That influenced his decision to attend ND.

He was a freshman at Notre Dame in 1984. We were running a veer offense at that point that had little passing up field. ND was running a pro set back then. I suspect he figured he'd get more touches at ND as a possession receiver than he would at SMU and it would be a better move for a pro career. He did visit SMU.

Oh please. Share with us what you plan to watch on TV tonight again. Or perhaps enlighten us on who you'll root for when SMU and Minnesota square off in lacrosse or Yahtzee or thumb-wrestling. He was being funny. You've tried to do the same many, many times. Lay off.

His name is CashMcMogulsonIII. So, he's either a member of the Circle (my hero) or a tool.

Pick one.

Oh man, oh man..... I googled. That is awesome stuff. (And I mean awesome, like me.) I think I was sent it back when the series was new to the web, but had COMPLETELY forgotten it by the time the Cash McMogulson handle showed up here.

I close deals. I don't know you but you probably know me.

Actually SMU bagmen tried to buy Brown-I believe he may have even talked to the NCAA. SMU had a real shot at him along with Brian Bosworth who actually committed to SMU after SMU's Conference clinching 17-17 tie with Arkansas. Guess he had enough integrity to turn said bagmen down. I'm pretty sure the DMN had articles in which Brown accused SMU of substantial illegal offers.
