southerncomfort - Saturday's Practice

Postby ponydawg » Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:45 am

What time will it be starting and is there some sort of agenda of what and when they will be doing it?

Thanks!

I think it's 9AM Sat.

Arrive on time because the special teams
coach is very entertaining and
that is usually first on the agenda.

I hope a lot of local recruits get by to see the practice.

Is this on the practice field? If so, do you have to watch through the fence, or do you let yourself in the gate?

No more climbing the fence or using a periscope - you're welcome at practice (again) - walk right through the gate - stand, sit, sun, shade, move around - very informative/entertaining - what a breath of fresh air. I went once, got hooked, and have subsequently gone back to 4 additional workouts. Stop by on your way home from work/golf course.

To reiterate what everybody else has already said...practice is at 0900 and should last till about 1100. It may or may not be shorter just because it's a Saturday but I'm not certain. And yes, as insane says, arriving early would be key - the cool drills are at the beginning with Gansz going off on us with his headset. Don't miss it!
Next week practices are Monday - Thursday with Friday being the Lettermen's Golf Tournament. Saturday, the 5th will be the Red/Blue game at 1300, rain or shine. They've been promoting it around the campus "June's coming early this year" and such.
Also, yall will probably find this VERY entertaining

That is some pretty funny stuff. Has anyone given this it's own thread yet? Everyone should get a chance to see it.

Does anyone have information on the golf tournament? Is it open to Mustang Club members?

Call the Letterman's Association 214-768-4000. I do not believe it is restricted but you do have to have a Letterman in your foursome.
