Good job Mustang Club

Postby RGV Pony » Thu Jun 26, 2008 4:01 pm

Got an email today about the trip being put together for the Navy game. It's competitively priced. Most importantly, this is a hint that we're starting to "get it." In years past, that email would've come about three weeks before the game, after most of us that are going have already bought our tickets.

Way to go.

I just made my reservations for my wife and me to travel to the game. Debbie M. at the Mustang Club says this package is already about half-filled! Better call NOW to make sure you get in on this great deal as a Mustang Club member!

Debbie M. at the MC says over 2500 emails were sent out and postcards are also being mailed out about the Navy game package. Check your 'spam' filter to see if the MC email might have ended up in your 'bulk' mail.

RGV: You are correct! NOW is the time for these kinds of packages to be publicized and reserved!

I've always wanted to see an SMU game at one of the military academies. My father saw the last SMU v Navy game in Annapolis (1998) and said it was an incredible experience. Plus, the Mustangs WON - 24-11. :)

Debbie M. is a professional and everything she does. I have known her for 5 to 7 years and she is active in many circles. Her husband and family are good people and work in and for the community.

Give her your ideas and if the powers to be agree... she can make it happen.

I willalready be in D.C. with the General (Not THAT one! I'm married to this one!) so I wonder if I can get the package without the airfare?

I haven't seen the email yet but my understanding was that there would be a an option without the airfare.

When would tickets become available for this game through the Mustang Club? Sounds like we are going to have a pretty good showing. A buddy told me quite a few Stang fans from the east coast will travel to this game. Could we have a 1000 SMU fans at the Navy game?

Generals are not in the navy. They're the army. I think you're being duped.

I've been told that ALL of the away game tickets (non-conference & C-USA games) will become available to season ticket holders on Aug. 1st.

I bet your kids hated it when the other kids in the neighborhood used to say "Your Mama wears army boots!"

Where can I find info on the Mustang Club packages for the Navy game? I can't find any email regarding available options. I also couldn't find anything on the Mustang club website. I can call on Monday, but would be interested in any info y'all could pass along.
