2008 Mustang Kickoff Watching Party
Friday August 29, 6:30 p.m.
Dallas Hall Lawn
If you can't make it down to Rice and want to show your Mustang pride, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come watch the beginning of the June Jones Era on a huge Jumbotron in front of Dallas Hall.
There will be FREE Peggy Sue's BBQ, soft drinks, and FREE June Cometh t-shirts. Also Register to win some great prizes!

sounds like a brilliant idea. I sure hope the students go for a little bit, being that it is a friday night and frat row should be party central this weekend

that wont stop them. They'll just go to off campus residents or even the bars/clubs that allow 18+
When the cops would break up parties , there were always apartments to go

it really doesnt matter were you go, they dont have the physically break up a party to get us in deep [deleted]

Sounds good to me. It doesn't look like I'll make it down to Houston for the doubleheader so this would be cool and I can bring the kiddos.

Better than the West Virginia trend of lighting couches on fire after big games .... either in celebration of a WVU win or anger over a loss.
Any other fans who celebrate wins and losses by doing the exact same thing? Seems very odd, if you ask me.
