A Very Short Career

Postby Stallion » Wed Aug 04, 2010 9:32 pm

3 Marshall Freshman get booted before first practice. I've heard of "a cup of Coffee in the Majors" but perhaps these kids can say they got "a Slice of Pizza in Division 1A"

It continues to pay having Doc Holliday as your coach. Instant justice.

Did you read the article? You realize they were his own recruits right? I do not think that is that common.

What a bunch of idiots. Marshall has enough of a football tradition, that if they had played it straight, they might have gotten NFL looks and then off to the races. Now, they'll be in WV Pen doing hard time.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Unfortunately, this conduct is probably not new to these three. Make some background checks and interview some associates and you would probably find out these kids were a mixed bag in every sense of the word.

Oh, forgot to mention the drugs and alcohol in the room. Seems like these kids had no plans on becoming "student athletes". I wonder what kind of students they might have been, but can probably guess right.
