A Very Short Career3 Marshall Freshman get booted before first practice. I've heard of "a cup of Coffee in the Majors" but perhaps these kids can say they got "a Slice of Pizza in Division 1A"

Re: A Very Short CareerIt continues to pay having Doc Holliday as your coach. Instant justice.
Re: A Very Short CareerNew Coach, always some departures...Marshall is going to get better...good schedule

Re: A Very Short Career
Did you read the article? You realize they were his own recruits right? I do not think that is that common.
Re: A Very Short CareerNo I didn't but I figure he is making a point one way or another...
Re: A Very Short CareerThe RB & WR were top 100 players in FL. Definately is a new sherrif in town.

Re: A Very Short CareerWhat a bunch of idiots. Marshall has enough of a football tradition, that if they had played it straight, they might have gotten NFL looks and then off to the races. Now, they'll be in WV Pen doing hard time.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: A Very Short CareerI wonder what kind of pizza it was.
Re: A Very Short Careergreat pictures of these dudes on the CUSA website

Re: A Very Short CareerUnfortunately, this conduct is probably not new to these three. Make some background checks and interview some associates and you would probably find out these kids were a mixed bag in every sense of the word.
Re: A Very Short CareerOh, forgot to mention the drugs and alcohol in the room. Seems like these kids had no plans on becoming "student athletes". I wonder what kind of students they might have been, but can probably guess right.
Re: A Very Short CareerAt least the ones we lost were "academic" casualties.
