No "surprises" on there. A couple of interesting bits though.

JJ McDermott seems to have shrunken an inch since arriving from New Mexico. He's still plenty tall though.

As lamented elsewhere, we're a little thin up front as Tennison and Collins are starting/backing up several spots.

Monster TE/DE/receiver Patrick Fleming is backing up tiny "X" receiver Darius Johnson. Maybe we trot Fleming out there and have him run over the opposing corner a few times so DJ can have a field day.

True freshmen Jeremy Johnson and Keenan Holman are on the 2-deep.

the only thing that stands out as a surprise to me is Mike Loftus not backing up Szymanski on kick offs/Field Goals.

Ooh, good catch. I didn't see that one coming either.

I thought that Parks had made good enough progress at corner to be 2nd team. We are certainly lacking there. Hopefully Thomas and Robinson will perform well when needed.

Crazy excited about our front-7 on Defensive!!!! Bring on Tech

Symon Czerniak in the 2-deep? Interesting...

Without giving too much away, from what was said at today's luncheon, that 2-deep isn't entirely accurate. According to some of JJ's comments, I think you'll see some more younger guys backing up certain positions.

Do we know who the primary returners will be? Sounds like Fields has had a great camp back there, but who else lines up with him? Butler again?

What about punts? Seems that Crawford and Acker have been getting a lot of time back there.

I was told by one of the guys on the Kickoff return team that its Fields & Butler kick returners
