Amen to that. May God watch over them as they defend freedom around the globe.

Freedom is not free. That brings back memories of my father and thanks for his generation.

The US needs to remember what socialism has done in the past. Nothing good BTW.

And what thanks do we give them? Crappy medical coverage as they get older. That's what the rest of us have to look forward to now. Yeah!

When did your Thanksgiving become an American military holiday?

Arrogance is a fatal flaw. What was your day to give thanks to God is now your day to give thanks to the power of your military. America's new found preference among the two demonstrates a great deal of misunderstanding as to which yields a greater power.

America gives no thanks to "God" , but instead yields to the freedom of choice. Which is something to be thankful for. This freedom is the result of the sacrifices made by the armed forces who sacrifice more then most of us ever will. You can point your finger at America but no matter what country you are from you should be thankful for the men and women who sacrifice their lives and allow you to sleep safely at night

It is now accepted as a day to give thanks, period. For what or to whom is at the discretion of the person giving thanks.

Would you have the people of North Korea celebrate their freedoms? The world is not a place of benevolent governments imposing order on a world of chaos.

Additionally, you altered your claim as to Thanksgiving being a military holiday, only to then claim that choice is irrelevant as all should reach your same conclusion. Please, do not change your position and continue arguing. When you change your position, I may agree with you.
