Maybe he did; maybe he didn't. I find it an odd job for June to be interested in. Seems to fit all the criteria of a job June would have no interest in.

Maybe he met with June to get ideas.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I guess part of their vetting process for Mike Leach included talking to his Daddy.

ask anyone around Terps sports, this is a messed up search. The fan base disapproves of everyone other than Leach.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Current Maryland AD is former Army AD -- we're lucky he was basically pushed into hiring Rich Ellerson. He was completely to blame for the botched "transition" from Bobby Ross to Stan Brock.

Good thing for Maryland fans that he is basically being forced into Leach. God only knows who they'd end up with otherwise.

Maybe Ruffin McNeal if ECU pounds the Terps. He's a poor man's version of Leach.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Comcast SportsNet's Chick Hernandez reports that Maryland's athletic director Kevin Anderson and part of his search committee have met with several candidates for the position of Maryland's Head Football Coach.

Hernandez reports that the committee has met with Mike Leach, who Anderson mentioned in his press conference announcing Ralph Friedgen's buy-out, June Jones, the current head coach of SMU, and Gus Malzhan, the offensive coordinator at Auburn. Both Jones and Malzhan are coaching their respective teams in upcoming bowl games.

There are, reportedly, more candidates but Hernandez was told the committee won't be told the final roster of names down until Anderson narrows it down.

Anderson has stated that he wants to name a new coach by January 4th.

Would Jones change the Terp mascot? Not intimidating enough? :)
