just saw rivals headlines, so i'm guessing that's what you were referring to.

i was afraid that he was possibly injured or something. would love to see him have a great game, setting SMU single game highs in yards and TD's.

you know, just to get things rolling.

I had thought they wanted to RS him, but based on what I have read about him in camp it sounds like he is just too good to not be on the field. His size and physicality is something that we could certainly use against aTm

I'd like to talk about this, but as a Rivals member my lips are sealed.

Jared Williams and he were the only true freshman listed on the two deep.

"No one wants to sit on the bench"

When asked what will be the toughest adjustment with college play and what he can improve on...."waking up on my own"

With all the talk about him, and given his height, I'm really excited to see what this kid can do. Go Ponies!

This could be the most gifted set of receivers we have placed on the field at one time since the JJ era began at SMU . . .

He's not starting is he? I thought JJ ran with the starters and hardly made subs. That just because lack of options in previous years?

I'm pretty sure JJ would say he does not use a lot of subs because the biggest thing about having success in this offense is understanding the defense and understanding what you are suppose to do to counter and his starters are the best 4 recievers he has on the team in doing that. The basis for the R&S came from mouse davis watching kids play pick up games where he noticed they would run around into space created by how the defenders were playing them. Thus in order to be good at this offense its about understanding what the defense is playing and what the adjustment will be. In a system like that athletiscim takes a back seat to understanding wich usually only comes with experience. What is so devistating about the R&S is that on every play there is space left open by design/how the defender covers you so if the QB and WR see the same thing someone will always be open or likely to be open. Look as Wes Welker every DB he goes up against in the NFL is a better athlete then he is but the offense is designed to let him adjust to what the defense gives him something he has a lot of expierence doing goiung back to his Tech days.
