The bcs always says if your going to lose one, then lose early

Really tough to get in the first 11-1 (12-1) year.

If we had the cred that TCU HAD then maybe. If TCU had won out after Baylor they might have.

I haven't verified this, but if memory serves no non-BCS school has ever received a BCS bid with 1 or more losses. I see absolutely no reason why that would be different this year.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We still have tough games coming up against UCF, UH, Navy, Southern Miss., and arguably Tulsa. If the Ponies come out and lay an egg in any one of those games, this thread is moot.
