Heresy I know, but TCU earned the Big 12

Given our rivalry with TCU, at the risk of being condemned as a heretic, the Frogs have earned their way into the Big 12 like we belatedly have tried to do with JJ. If the Big East remains an AQ football conference, then TCU's place in that group might become ours. Though I don't like the wide geographical Big East spread, we should do whatever it takes to get out of being a mid-major and work our way up to BCS status too. There is no telling what the future shall bring in conference realignments.

I think its great for TCU. They earned it through several years of consistently developing their program through good coaching and strong recruiting.

Big 12 members praised the move to invite TCU. "We're proud that TCU has been invited to join the Big 12," Texas AD DeLoss Dodds said in a statement. "Their commitment to academics and success on the field make them an excellent fit. With a solid budget and strong financial support, they have been proactive at improving facilities. Their close proximity to all conference institutions makes for a comfortable travel situation."

They earned it no doubt about it. I don't think many if any has argued otherwise but that doesn't mean it makes us happy

it's a good day to be a Frog, but this really only buys us 6 years of AQ. Then it could be a free for all. I would have enjoyed the Big East but Syracuse and Pitts leaving made it a dead man walking. Hopefully this will work out well for us.
