Wow- what a comparison. cougar high vs rice academics???? cougar high vs. rice sports.

Well, at least we're not the only school clamoring to get into the B12.

That chart also seems to indicate that without the charity from the B12, SMU would be far ahead of Baylor. Our revenue is nearly double that of Houston.

Last I looked, it was SMU who was the defending CUSA west champs.

So if it's a question of "what have you done for me lately?", SMU wins.

If you want to look at past performance, I think you could make a strong argument that we'd win that discussion too.

Sorry PP but CUSA champions does't seem to have the same ring to it as Pac 10 champions, big 10 champions, sec champions etc. I guess it's the little leagues vs the bigs.

Redpony, we get it, you think we are screwed. Now quit posting a reply to every single thread emphasizing your point. You even freaking posted in the Peruna's Oktoberfest thread about it. Come on...

True, but last time I looked, Houston hadn't won the PAC 10, Big 10 or SEC either. My point was arguing with the author from the Houston paper and certain Texas legislators who felt Houston should be invited to B12.
