Confirmation would be nice. But if true, this is more good news for our program. And likely national news.

I am sure GG still had enough weight to garner national attention from a lot of big programs. So this is great.

Don't read to much into it...his very next tweet is as follows:

"Another fact on QB Garrett Gilbert is that his HS coach is OC at Clemson, but maybe they don't need another QB, but don't be surprised here."

So he's transferring to SMU, but don't be surprised people if he goes to Clemson....

he is a 4 star on rivals. I am not sure how he would fit in our offense. I am not even sure we are recruiting him but if we are I would say that this improves our chances.
