Early Pre Season Top 25http://m.espn.go.com/ncf/story?storyId= ... rc=desktop
A little shocked to see Bama at number 2 or ahead of Auburn for that matter. Also, it's nice not to see Texas listed for a change.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25A top 25 ranking that has Texas Tech at #21 and Oklahoma State and UCF not listed is bullshite.
Stopped taking it seriously at BU in #9 and then almost closed the page at North Carolina in #16
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
SMU's not ranked either. Def can't be a legit poll BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
You have proven to be an idiot and bully. How does a team that goes 4-8 be ranked in the top 25 (Florida)? Texas Tech will be exposed in the Big 12 again, once they get to the real schedule vs. OU, Texas, OK State, TCU, BU etc. Any ACC team other than Florida State or Clemson in the Top 25 is a joke. That is not a real conference.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
Says the dude that is calling SMU a final four favorite when we haven't been to the NCAA tourney in 20 years? Florida is talented even though they underachieved mightily last year. Don't think Muschamp wants to get Muschomped. Tech will be better than last year and no I don't think they'll be great or anything. but Kliff be doin Kliff things. Baylor is the defending big xii champion and have a potential Heisman candidate at QB and they're going to put up 60 points a game. How on earth is that a joke? And once again, UNC has talent. And the ACC that you call a joke is the best chance SMU will ever have to not be a part of the garbage 5. It's a very real conference that makes very real large amounts of money. BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
Tech will be better than last year, but still not worthy of a Top 25 bid. I want to see them beat a couple teams in their conference before getting ranked. BU is a top 25 team but I wouldn't put them above Texas A&M which is an arguably way better team. BU at #15 and I would be ok with it. And once again, UNC has talent. And the ACC that you call a joke is the best chance SMU will ever have to not be a part of the garbage 5. It's a very real conference that makes very real large amounts of money And that is very much true... ![]()
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25Village Idiot: "How does a team that goes 4-8 be ranked in the top 25 (Florida)?"
I dunno-might want to ask Auburn Florida 2015 is eerily similar to Auburn 2014. Both teams coming off poor seasons that had unusually high numbers of major injuries playing in the NFL-SEC and both teams are LOADED from a recruiting perspective. I've already posted Auburn's top national classes. Now here are Florida's Rivals recruiting rankings: 2010: 2 2011: 12 2012: 3 2013: 4 2014: 8 "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
BOP- you forgot this was a top 25 poll- not a bottom 25 poll. ![]()
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
I got all excited we were in it when I saw it posted here. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
You would have been in for an even bigger letdown had we been listed.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25I'm a bit surprise that UCF isn't in the top 25. And NC Tarheels that high up? More wishful thinking that real analysis.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25It's completely bogus. No UCF, Boise, BYU, NIU etc.
It's a P5 loaded top 25 ranking
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
Figured you'd be upset that TCU was left out.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25UNC finished the year strong and returns quite a bit so I see them ranked, but not #16. Duke finished the year stronger, returns more than UNC, finished the regular season with a win at UNC, and is not ranked. This Top 25 is BS.
Re: Early Pre Season Top 25
I think UCF is a wait and see in the eyes of the pollsters. No Bortles, no Storm, lost 2 OL, lost their best DT and Nickel LB. Not that I agree with them but press types are notorious for reading the stats and churning out articles that way. From that perspective they lost an NFL QB and an NFL RB that accounted for the bulk of their offense and their defense wasn't elite. Press polls are predictably bad.
