Wazzu gets a big stop but they will have to drive nearly 100 yards, then recover an onside kick and score again if they want to tie. 4:37 left

To be fair, Stanford sealed that win the day Washington State hired Mike Leach. Leach just can't beat a team with a good defense because his teams are not built to win a defensive game.

Quite true. And Stanford also sealed it in recruiting - complete dominance at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
