Never heard a peep about Morris pursuing him the last 2 weeks, so likely Morris didn't want any part of him.

Chason Virgil is obviously our first priority.

There was a lot of talk about Morris having stayed in touch with Kelly because Kelly was one of Morris' early recruits at Clemson, but I'm not sure any of that was true. Kelly may have burned his bridge with Morris when he blew up at Clemson's spring game and I think that was "strike 3" for him at Clemson and possibly with Morris.

FYI
@BleacherReport: Ole Miss QB commit Chad Kelly arrested after bar fight, then threatening to "get my AK-47 and spray this place” http://t.co/l8TEjWiC5n

Good thing this guy is not coming here. He sounds like a brick with a p.

Announcement tomorrow that Ole Miss cuts him loose.

Can he go back to Juco? May be his only option after this genius move. Too many other worthy kids fighting for the chance at a D1 scholarship to give this moron any other chances.

After this genius move, I doubt there are even many junior colleges that would taken him back. My take is that his football career is over unless he wants to go to some place like Jacksonville State (FCS) that basically fills its roster every year with criminals that got kicked off of FBS teams... then again... if even 25% of this story is true, he's going to be facing jail time... not classroom time next fall.

My first thought when reading that was he sounds perfect for the school in Fort Worth.

I wonder if his attorney will claim "affluenza?"

I was reading some of the comments on the ESPN story from Clemson fans and they're right. Why is the story titled Ex-Clemson QB arrested and not Ole Miss commit arrested?

I don't usually hate on ESPN but my god they do everything possible to promote the SEC. It's a joke. Just like giving Paul Finebaum a daily three hour show on one of their networks. Garbage.

I would argue he is a better fit for Waco (Wacko) also the cite of the incident involving David Koresh and the Branch Davidians.

The kid went to Clemson, played there and had multiple incidents while he was there. Yes committed to Ole Miss, but he hasn't even attended a single class there, much less practiced. So while Ole Miss will have to make a decision after this latest incident (assuming he doesn't go to jail), the Tigers can't claim their involvement with him never existed.
