Not to look past NTSU, but JMU was ranked #12 headed into the weekend (South Dakota State was #15). They beat Morehead St 56-7.

JMU is a good program. So was Montana State when we played them. For some reason we have something against scheduling any FCS team unless they are an exceptionally strong FCS team.

Yeah right. LOL. I am fairly certain that while June and his staff did not recruit very well at all that I would hope they recruited at least well enough to match D1AA levels even at the #12 ranking. If not I will say we need 3.5 more recruiting classes rather than 3.

You do recall we went 1-11 last season and got killed by a UNT team that would likely have lost to a school like JMU. Let's have a little self-control while we enjoy the view as the program ascends into better fields. Don't think they haven't already circled this game on their calendars.

JMU normally has a very large following for FCS. Incredible band also that really pumps up their crowd. I will be interested to see how they travel to Texas.

Portland State beat WSU, so UNT could have a real rough first half of the season.
