Exactly. I had my doubts about Nutt ever leaving Arkansas, but now I think it may be good for him .. and SMU ... I have been following Coach Nutt since his High school days and I can say he is definately a winner.

We need Knute Rockne, not Nutt case. Nutt's personal friends attacked Mustain last year. Vicious emails and such. And Nutt did very little to protect his player. Not much of a players coach if players can be subject to abuse by the coaches buddies. Nutt always has a couple or more players arrested for some felony. They get dismissed and the paper buries the rest of the story. Nutt has had two solid losing seasons and he wins with a classic Frank Broyles schedule of uber cupcakes.

There are many at SMU that remember recruiting the youngster Nutt. Not a one has a positive thing to say about the guy. I disagree that he is a good coach. I disagree that the players and lack of discipline in his program are what SMU wants. And I disagree that he is the man for us.

None of that stuff is true. It was all made up by a bunch of Haterz in Springdale where Mustain was from.

It was a total witch hunt.

oh I have concrete proof that every single bit of it happened. Heck the woman that sent the email to Mustain actually ended up calling in to a state wide call in show to talk about why she did it.

I think it is less of that, and more about a lot of people coming out of the shadows in hopes of getting a real coach back here in Dallas.

He took over a 4-7 team at arkansas his first year, and damn near got them to the national championship game. Same players, just made them play harder. He's an offensive genius. One thing is for certain this fan base has alot of problems right now. And Big Deal, what on earth are you doing on here, you are the biggest Nutt supporter I know... I figured youd want him to stay at Arkansas
