The 9-year-old says 6-6 or 7-5 just because June took over the program.

I always had a sick feeling in the 4th that we would find away to give the other team a chance to tie or win - and somehow we always did.
I think the new staff will have no problem putting teams away - if talent permits.
I know the sick feeling of which you speak quite well. I honestly have no clue how many wins the team comes away with this year. What I do expect (yes, I said expect, sorry jtstang) is that this team/staff will do everything they can to win.

That is not an expectation of winning or losing so it's perfectly acceptable. In fact, that the players and coaches will give their best effort for every game is an expectation that you and I, and frankly everybody, should share.

It is one I didn't have under the previous coach's tenure. I'm looking forward to some well coached games for a change.

So that I am on record: 5 wins.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Don't we have anyone who wants to revise their predictions after the Rice game?
This should be a sticky thread every year.

Well, I was obviously off the mark. I thought for sure we'd put Rice in the W bag. We looked like a bunch of slack-jawed losers last week. JJ's getting paid too much to keep us on board the suck wagon. Choo Choo, I want off, fool! I want off!!!!!!
Maybe this week we can put on our big girl panties and give TxState a game. They're going to come to play, hopefully we will too.

I had Rice as a win, but I'm sticking with my predictions. I liked what I saw and know we will see improvement this week.

Just wondering who's second-guessing themselves after week 3. Anybody?
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I picked 7-5 with JW as QB, less than .500 with anyone else.
My new prediction is 2-10, the second win being Memphis in a close one, with the biggest loss coming against Tulsa.
And is SMU sure they want this weekend to be family weekend, it could get really ugly.
