Put McCoy at SMU those same years, and he'd be sitting at home on Sundays watching the NFL like the rest of us because his numbers would not have been that impressive.

Yeah Texas looks real good without McCoy! They lost 3 games while he was the QB at Texas...THey have lost 3 games this year. Talent pool is an excuse. McCoy is 10x's the QB.

Kyle did a good job last night. Not just saying that because his dad was 5 feet away from me.

Actually, I think you are right. I didn't see him holding the ball too long or anything. That loss was all on the team as a whole. I think RGV brought up the term fog. That puts it best. I thought with last weeks late game heroics we were out of it, but no.

Yeah maybe they were getting home cooking calls, but you're on the road. Let the coach get hacked about it, don't lose your head over it and get silly personal foul penalties. I really think those personal fouls lost us the game, we were coming alive there at the end it looked like... and then we get backed up with a personal foul and can't convert on a third and a $20 cab ride and have to punt. A ten yarder kicked up with another personal foul giving them the ball on our own Doak (the 37) and it was over.

We are getting yards with our offense.

If we have some kind of kick return game and start drives on the 30 instead of the 10, does Padron still look bad?

If we get some turnovers our way and start drives at the 50 instead of the 10, does Padron still look bad?

From another post,

Kyle released the ball faster than he has all season , consistently the entire game.
One time I counted past 4 seconds, two bad throws. No boys this was not the Kyle factor tonight.
This once again was a Team talent issue most noteably a lack of defense...

I did want to spin a positive on the first post of this thread. Because in my mind the 3 second release is huge in this funky system. Apparently we need everyone to step up at the same time...

GO PONIES!!!

Projected 3117 yards 33 TD 10 INT :?:

but. if you go on his averages from this year padron avg. 2+ TDs/game 1Int/game so he would end up around 28 and 12 and around 2800 yards. that being said we're not going to see another defense like TT or TCU this year.... so expect more then 3000 yards. I also expect 30+ touchdowns

3526 yards 29 TDs. 13 Ints..... So if he has a game like the Hawaii bowl he will break the 4,000 yard mark and 30+ Tds.... not bad
