I know a lot of you hate OU, I am an alumnus from there as well as our beloved university. All that being said, For the past few weeks I have honestly thought SMU has a much better chance of going to a bowl game than the sooners. When in the past has that been something I could even fathom let a lone it actually be a reality? Great effort and now onto a victory over Tulane.

Hawaii has never been a bad option. Just as long as we had the opportunity to be champions, that was the goal.

Damn. Way to fight til the end though Mustangs! I actually believed we could get there if we'd gotten that onside kick, which is something I haven't said in years (if ever!).......Beat Tulane!

Rice could beat Houston. Not bloodly likely, but its a crosstown rivalry to end the season. rice has ruined seasons for UH before.

The revised goal is not to get to 7 wins to assure a winning record at seasons end.

The only good that came out of today was that our defense will not have to face an SEC team in the Liberty Bowl. Injuries aside, this team is not ready to hang with an SEC team. Now lets beat the hell out of Tulane next weekend and get to 7 wins on a surprisingly successful season.

We weren't going to the Liberty anyway, remember?

We are nowhere near to competing with a SEC team as we all know, as I posted weeks ago about bowl games....get to a reaonable bowl game this year and then lets see what we do...lets get a good showing against Nevada or someone that we can compete with.
