No, he said Bob Davey.

Was he the guy in Davey and Goliath? That was a good Christian televition program.

I think Davey and Goliath was actually a Mormon program, which if you believe the pastor at 1st Baptist Church in Dallas, is no more christian than the pagans.

There is only one wife in this picture, so I doubt it.

BTW, that's Bob Davey on the left.

Is that bigdaaddy29385473626238 on the right?

They get dismissed and the paper buries the rest of the story. Nutt has had two solid losing seasons and he wins with a classic Frank Broyles schedule of uber cupcakes.

There are many at SMU that remember recruiting the youngster Nutt. Not a one has a positive thing to say about the guy. I disagree that he is a good coach. I disagree that the players and lack of discipline in his program are what SMU wants. And I disagree that he is the man for us.

None of that stuff is true. It was all made up by a bunch of Haterz in Springdale where Mustain was from.

It was a total witch hunt.

oh I have concrete proof that every single bit of it happened. Heck the woman that sent the email to Mustain actually ended up calling in to a state wide call in show to talk about why she did it.

Chiefsfan, You are a pot stirrer and it is my opinion you are making stuff up to discredit Nutt and his family.

Im not going to even respond to this. If this was to continue there would be more razorback fans getting on here and arguing with each other

One thing is for certain this fan base has alot of problems right now. And Big Deal, what on earth are you doing on here, you are the biggest Nutt supporter I know... I figured youd want him to stay at Arkansas

If there actually is a known Nutt supporter over on this board, it's probably because he wants someone he knows to be a good coach to go to a program where he can be appreciated as a real man of genius.

It is breath of freshment air to be honest. It hurts to see a man's reputation get damaged by some fans from Springdale, AR. Wanting him gone is one thing, but making up lies is another, IMO . If he decided to leave the Arkansas football program to build SMU back to the old SWC days, I support him in that decision

Notice the influx of new posters. Hopefully no one believes that there are a ton of SMU alums that are closet Houston Nutt fans.

They were doing a good job when it was just one or two guys on a two page thread. A little overdone now.

Go to hogville.net and you read how much fun they're having with this thread.

Look, Houston, you really need to get off the SMU board and get back to preparing for South Carolina.

Davey and Goliath was a childrens' television series produced by the Lutheran Church in the 1950s and 1960s and televised widely across the United States, the Caribbean and around the world.

My bad - you're right - it was the Lutheran Church that produced the series.

half of them are probably actually Nutt haters too. The terms that are getting used on these boards are pretty much exact quotes from Houston Nutt. Terms like Precious, Special, and armies to the north, come directly from him.

If SMU wants to hire Nutt, we will pay his moving expenses to get him down to Dallas

Houston Nutt and Phil Bennett are first cousins on both their Momma's and Daddy's sides. No Thanks.
