I would have suspected that the players would have more personal pride than to play like this in front of a group of SMU fans.

Ben Hicks is now the all-time leader in passing TDs in SMU history.

I am guessing he is only credited with 1 even though he has thrown 4 so far.

Just a horrible 1st half for SMU. La Tech is basically manhandling our guys and we have to kick to them to open the 2nd half. Let's see if our guys show any fight in 2nd half. If It gets worse right away, I want to see what some of the backups can do...especially the QBs

I don't think it's fair to lump the whole team together. Just takes one or two guys (Hicks in particular) to bring down a team. The offense has just screwed the defense so far.
