and a little more salt in the wound, their highest rated recruit, 3 star DT Zach Abercrumbia from DALLAS SKYLINE, doesn't seem to have even received an offer from SMU. Obviously smart kid with 14 offers from Rice to Vanderbilt to TCU to Wisconsin, in our backyard......you know the story.
Or Sam Awolope from Fort Bend, the athletic OT we desperately need with 16 offers from Missouri to Nebraska, Okie St, TCU, Wake, BYU, etc. No SMU offer.
These kids are the poster boys for the next 20-30 kids the new staff should be all over.
This is what should give us hope.
