[quote="shadowman"]I respect your opinion, but I do not think I am part of the problem. I want a dynamic guy in here like Todd Graham, proven coach, young guy and hungry, great ideas. [quote]

Todd Graham of Tulsa? The coach we've beaten each of the last two years who's been at Tulsa what, 2 years longer than June has been at SMU???

Peace out!

June is a smart guy but you're right he is lazy and stubborn. Would it kill him to evolve a little? You know it just might.

You IDIOTS June had never had a running back run for a 1000 yards, and now he has had 2 in 2 years :!: The second years running back unexpectantly improved on the first one's bottom LINE :!: :!: :!: :!:
That sounds like a little EVOLVING :!:
..............................

June Jones has had ONE 1,000 yard CAPABLE back.

Nate Ilaoa #10 FB
Height 5-9
Weight 248 lbs

Nate was Ranked twelfth in the NCAA Division 1-A ranks with an average of 139.5 all-purpose yards per game ... Led the team with a career-high 990 yards and thirteen touchdowns on 131 carries (7.6 avg) ... Was third on the squad with a school season-record (for running backs) 67 receptions for 837 Yards (12.5 avg) and five scores .. Nate was drafted by Philadelphia Eagles 2007 in the 7th round.

Nate's Total Touchdowns in 2006
18
Zach's Total Touchdowns to date in 2010
10

Nate's Total All Purpose Yards in 2006
1,827 131 rushes 67 Receptions 198 Touches of ball 9.2 Yards/Touch of ball

Zach's Total All Purpose Yards in 2010 to date
1,549 227 rushes 15 Receptions 242 Touches of ball 6.4 Yards/Touch of ball

So June Jones and Hawaii have had a BEAST in the backfield before at the same time they had a Heisman candidate at the QB who passed 58 touchdowns and threw for 5549 yards with a completion rate of 72.6%.

So what are we missing here?

Thanks for the kind words. Sadly, I checked to see the last time Shadowman logged on and it was about an hour before my reply, so it may have not reached the intended target. Oh well, time to move on and start talking about how June Jones and the team will attack Army. I really hope that the defense plays with the intensity and multi-blitz packages that it did against UCF. Even though we lost, that was some of the best defense we've played all year in my opinion. Nice to see a "washed up" offensive mind can manage to get his team to play a little defense! GO PONIES!
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!
