Hence the range. If SMU fire's JJ, $6m is the starting point.
JJ may be willing to negotiate that down in order to save face ("decided to resign" instead of "got fired") - I don't know this for a fact and I doubt anyone does but it's worth checking into
JJ will not back down and probably does not think there is anything to save face about, even if pushed by others.

I wonder if he still feels that way since June basically slammed his recruiting efforts in the luncheon.

Maybe we should bring in a priest to perform an exorcism to get rid of JJ.

Same way JJ dealt with it today...I put it on an overhead projector I bought when there tore down my elementary school in 1989...then I diagrammed the pike flag football offense circa 2002, I mean the JJ R&S circa 2011....
Then I diagrammed all the work AK does relative to the rest of the staff, it was defn weighted towards AK...
Then I got my daughters chalk and chalkboard out and we went over what an egomaniac JJ is...
Then we determined that JJs Diorama was a defn. sign he was showing us everything would be ok with out the guy who was doing work for the other 4 guys on staff....

Very well. How about telling him to take the deal or else he will have to coach us next year without the geldings present?

I told everyone that was a backpedal. The tweet about picking between SMU, ASU, and UCLA was the real one. Then I was chastised for it.

I wouldn't characterize anything June said today as attacking or criticizing Klemm.
The idea that it is JJ or AK is nonsense.

No coach would ever back pedal. And no coach would ever say their are staying put and then turn around and take another job. No one but JJ does that.

No one asked about the geldings, that would have been a good question to get out in the open and get everyone riled up again.

Again, I just wonder how Coach Klemm feels about what Coach Jones did today regarding the depth chart.

June says he was never offered the ASU job. Someone should ask Steinberg on twitter what the big deal was then
