Every time I think this site can't get any better, y'all surprise me. Fantastic. If you think about the hours of work, research and effort that went into that piece, it boggles the mind. All Mustang fans are forever in your debt. Thank you all.

Now lets go give Tech fits.

I'm not a college football fan, I'm a college football fanatic. Even in the offseason, I'm on the college football boards at ESPN.com, SportingNews.com, CNNSI.com .... just in case something of interest pops up. I also read boards like this for every team in the Big 12 and WAC (at least those that have them -- I have yet to locate a San Jose State board like this), as well as boards for many programs around the country. I can not think of a single site for any school, anywhere, that has ever put together a preview like that. Like KnuckleStang said, I can only imagine the man-hours that went into this project. You don't blow away the competition -- you have no competition.

By the way, how are you going to top this?

Try SELLING it to the DMN... They have not done anything this good.. well... I can't remember.

Thanks guys.

SMU should be buying it, let alone the Morning News.
I'll echo what everyone else has said - nobody covers the Ponies like you guys do. Thanks for being so good to your (and our) school.

Good point. Did yall see the preview in the Morning News today?

Absolutely no comparison.

I think Watkins does a great job with what they give him, but he gets no space in the paper. The paper says "Dallas" at the top. Therefore, SMU should get primary coverage.

This site is the best, and it's not even close.

Be careful about the ideas of selling this to DMN. Next thing you know, ponyfans.com will be just like cowboys.com, and there will be a subscription fee going to Belo for same.

I'd rather send $$ to the Ponyfans crew.

Excellent work.

I agree. Isn't that the idea someone else had here, to set up a "position" at their office/company for these guys so they can get after this stuff full-time? I still can't believe this is something they do on their free time. The work involved in a project like this must be immense.

As everyone else has said, Applause Applause for the PF.com crew. NOW we're all ready for football.

I normally don't read a lot of season previews ... OK - any previews. But I peeked at this one, and read every word. What a great job you guys do. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. We really appreciate the kudos!

When the Mustangs start winning 10+ games a season, maybe we’ll be able to afford doing this full time. In the meantime, the best support you can give us is to support our terrific sponsors, so:

If your fence looks crummy, restore it to pristine by calling Superior Wood Care.

Getting nailed by high electricity costs this summer? Call Superior Attic Insulation. This one’s a no brainer folks. You’ll quickly recoup the cost of this service in lower energy bills.

Got a car, boat airplane or RV? Then get RejeX. This stuff really works. It’s being used by NASA, the PepsiCo air acrobatic team, two different NASCAR teams and Air Force One – just to name a few. Order online, or Park Place Porsche (just a mile or two from campus) carries it in their parts department. I think Sewell Infinity may also carry it.

For anyone who needs legal advise, and for all you Mustang athletes that aspire to the next level, call Mike Glazer. Great guy... For a lawyer anyway.

As always, thanks for being a PonyFan!
