My wife didn't go last year, but from what she heard, last year they sort of did a strip in reverse (in other words, suiting up), though I'm sure it was very modest. The idea was to show all the gear they had to put on under the uniform itself. This year, they just came out in their uniforms. They were told that the red jersey was for home games and the white for away games...sounds like the navy blue jersey is off the rack this year. I always liked the dark navy blue jerseys, but I think the current red (crimson?) jerseys look pretty damn good too.

For those who are interested, they fed the ladies, gave them a tour of the facilities, including the weight room and locker room, and then a walk down the tunnel and out on to the field. The coaches told them what their criteria was for selecting players for the different posistions, what the different positions are suppose to do in the game and also showed them some of the plays in the play book. They also explained what some of the things the zebras are suppose to do and what the different signals made by the refs mean. All in all, the evening lasted 3.5 hours. Mrs. PK had a good time though I'm not sure she understands football any better than she did before...well maybe a little.

I'm glad to hear Phil didn't stand up the ladies like he did to the SVAA Coaches he was supposed to speak to.

Aw, if you ask really nicely, I'm sure she'll explain some of the basics to you!
