::grumbles incoherently::
Sure don't hear the fire I did last week... wish someone was logged in at the game to tell us if we look as lack-luster as we sound thus far.

tough to compete when you have no offense. time to look at the other QBs? I will continue listening even if this becomes a blowout, but at least I have local games of interest (USC & Clemson) to be watching on TV.
I will remain optimistic that good things will happen this year, but appears we may be a couple years away from competing with TCU.

Our offense came out and promptly last 15 yards. Seems our offensive performance last week was a flunk. Sounds like we are back to the same old offense we are use to for the last 5 years.
i stand corrected. We just hit a long pass play.

You all sound like me as a 10 year old listening with my SMU 50 Dad listening to the SMU NAVY game against Roger Staubach when we got down 14 points to them.

93 yard drive - 8 plays - a couple of min.
Not good at all.

I just want to see us compete. I don't expect this team to have any chance to win a game until San Jose State. Eckert's 1st play gives me hope.

That the kind of stuff that kills me. Get a drive going, fumble. This team isn't much better than most of us had feared. At least the O completes a pass now and then.

Am excited to hear the offense get back on the field--fumble notwithstanding, that was kinda encouraging. Will be interesting to hear if the ground game can open up behind Eckert. C'mon, D....
