I can't blame someone for pulling out of the Mustang Club. I did the Colt thing for a long time. Also have had season tickets for a long time to football & basketball. We go to some of the road games. We're going to the UTEP game next weekend. Our seats sucked the first season at Ford despite all those points, and we had to persuade the powers-that-be to upgrade us a little bit the next year. The way I see it, if I go to all the games, give $150/yr to the Mustang Club and the team wins 6 out of the last 37, I have earned seats on the 50. Any blind person can see that not all the seats on the 50 are taken even on a good night.

The Mustang Club rep that used to call me about renewing also used to "GUARANTEE" that SMU would go to a bowl game that respective season after telling me about the shortcomings of Forrest Gregg- (Vince Lombardi had to be rolling over in his grave). Needless to say, I have also taken a sabbatical from the Mustang Club for a while. I figured my Colt dollars must have been subsidizing seats on the 50 yard line to some Tech fan.

Two in a row gets you the lovely SMU alum Lauren Graham. My offer still stands to use Ms. campisi (for as long as the powers that be let me) whenever we get a bowl invite.

No pressure, but if SMU loses to UTEP, I am back to Ms. Kathy Bates for the offseason.
