well...i just checked it and it's now called "Mack Brown is Doing Better Now" on the home page and here's the message that greets you when you sign on:
I saw something after the A&M game I couldn’t ignore. It was the proverbial dumping of the ice cooler on the coach’s head. After a not so impressive effort to avoid the drenching, Mack turned and hugged his players. They hugged him back. It was true emotion. A cheesy yet moving moment.
Now don’t get me wrong – it is still true that Mack Brown is not yet a good gameday coach and has trouble winning big games consistently. We’ve seen it too many times in the past to ignore. And, any real Horns fan would admit that we probably should have lost either the Arkansas or Kansas games this year making this whole BCS nightmare moot. And the whole OU losing streak and lack of conference championships remains embarrassing.
But Texas is 10-1, ranked #5 in the country, and not about to fire Mack Brown any time soon. Mack has earned the right for this site to be down.
So with that, firemackbrown.com shall go offline.
The domain name is still for sale if anyone is interested in making an offer. After all, there are plenty of OU losses, upset specials, and Holiday Bowls in our foreseeable future.
